You see, this is the kind of thing that just serves to drag on this war! These C.S.A. people just keep promoting themselves in the belief that what they cannot accomplish on the battlefields they can realize through more gold braid. "Oh look! We've just lost another battle at Gettysburg . . . b...

Many thanks for this information, Jason! I fondly recall the YOU ARE THERE episodes that I watched as a kid. They were mostly broadcast on Sunday afternoons. I look forward to seeing and hearing them again!

Well, here I thought that you'd retire from the Cabinet and spend all of your time with the C.S.A. Drinking Team! But I do hear that the Cabinet prides itself on a premium liquor stock, and that members may freely imbibe at will. I suppose that it's all good in the end. A happy Cabinet is a producti...

I suppose that it was only a matter of time that Lt. Gen. Mishurda reached this milestone. Joe Mishurda was my Instructor at the UMA and conducted himself as a very adroit and knowledgeable player, one who was and is very glad to share his skills with anyone in need. It is milestone enough for any c...

Brig. Gen. Meadows, we need more of such minds as yours to accommodate the Union Army Academy's newest classroom study, "Maintaining Control At Home!" Should you feel so motivated to help we will very kindly guarantee your peaceful presence under the White Flag Rules to any schedule you fe...

We never know for sure when one of us goes "Missing In Action" from the club if it was due to a physical ailment, financial hardship or some other unexpected event. In a number of such instances I have routinely searched the online obituaries to see if some clue could be found. But, I beli...

Have just been informed that General John Dragan, ACWGC CSA, has passed away. No doubt those who knew him well will be officially posting his loss.

Hurricane Laura approaches the Texas/Louisiana gulf coast area with a Force 4 prediction and possibly a 20' storm surge in some places! Land fall is expected tonight.

Please take no chances with this event if you are in harm's way.

John, if you go after that disease with the same gutsy, enduring and aggressive demeanor that you've demonstrated in this club of ours, it doesn't stand a chance!

What I can't figure out is the changing rationale for the movement of supply wagons on roads! Some games charge 2 movement factors for each road hex, others only charging 1.

I suppose that this has been brought up before (and maybe I even missed whatever was done to possibly correct it), but I've always had a beef about objective hex flags! You know the ones I'm talking about: they change to be seen by everyone everywhere when the hex changes control. Quite the deal, an...

I'd like to know how you get on and off of that beast! Or does Cam just follow Nick around so that he can offer his shoulders as staging?

It was just a matter of time until the CSA High Command could figure out a another reason to flood the bars with juice and celebration. They still don't know that the war is essentially a done deal and that they'll be traipsing back home with little to show for it. The older vets like McOmish. Ludwi...

Well put, Mike! Both the Battleground and Campaign series are works of art. I cannot imagine my life without them. They are like dependable, old friends.
