Generally, I've found the AI dumb. But then my games against the AI have been limited and restricted to major battles. They were also many years ago. Rich, I will try a game or 2 against the AI with some of your designed battles and (if I remember) let you know what I feel about them. Frankly, human...

Apologies, I thought I'd completed the survey. My location isn't listed on the map so evidently, I didn't complete it! For those who want to know, I live in Hobart, Tasmania, located in the southern half of that suggestively shaped island at the bottom right hand corner of Australia. Incidentally, t...

Walt, I think the proposal for a Recruitment Officer has great merit. However, I'd like to think the first term should be experimental, with continuance based on the success or otherwise of the position. I favour the 2nd OBD Points option (nothing like enlightened self interest as an incentive!). Go...

Thankfully it wasn't too bad this time. The horse has been returned, complete with a new blanket (how kind). Back on track and trying to catch up on game turns.

If you don't hear from me in a week and I owe you a turn, please contact me!

kind regards to all...

To all who are playing with or against me and who are under my command, my horse has gone lame! I'm taking him to the Vet for a health check. This may take some time. My laptop, with all of my game on it, has gone "blank". It turns on, the buttons light up, but I can't see or hear anything...

Gentlemen, I have attached a diagram of what a Mk I Eyeball can see at distance. It was given to me some time ago during a similar online conversation (I think with Al Amos). (Apologies, Al, if I got that wrong.) Moving troops can be seen a bit further, but only because of their moving or the dust t...
