I play the Matrix versions, but I am familiar with the Talonsoft ones because of the mods I use on the Napoleonic games, with all the battles available through the Napoleon in Russia project. Those are amazing. I also really appreciate the battles available from the Cartography office. The favorite ...

It look like the Cs have it, and I concur. I like the idea of naming the divisions by their more historical names as proposed by Gen Moore, but I know the AoT went through division names pretty quickly with commanders being killed, wounded, promoted etc. The idea has some play though. If you have the Battle Ground series, I know there is mod on the BG Shiloh one I believe that lets you play the battle of Brice's Crossroads. I sure you have seen it in the book. Forrest basically routed a large federal force sent to destroy him and put a stop to his raiding of Shermans supply lines...

Here's a good site that does a in depth virtual tour of Chickamauga, Allatoona Pass, Pickett's Mill and maybe some others. Very well done. Pics, Info, OOBs, all that good stuff. Definitely worth a look.

Gen Simms, great job in this, I very much enjoy it. I had a question though, with the great amount of good info in these posts, why not have every year on a Sticky? eg 1861, 62, 63, and 64. Crowd the forum board?
