Or not, depending on whether anyone else is interested! [8D] My question is: do we need wagons with limited amounts of small arms ammo? As in, did the armies of this era run out of small arms ammunition in the battles we are re-fighting in these games? Or should wagons have unlimited amounts of smal... |

In the historical battle of G-burg scenario (1st one on the list, Historical 1), Heth's supply wagon shows up on the afternoon of day 2 and Pender's on the evening of day 1. With particular reference to Heth's wagon, I just wanted to see if this is correct? With no other wagons out there, it makes i... |

I'd like to see op fire followed by regular defensive fire, but I also like the single phase turns. Maybe auto pre-melee DF meshed with all defenders getting to fire once the active player finishes their turn? Maybe with melee set to cost 4mp's (for inf) to stop some of the panzer tactics? Firing an... |

I'm a probable attender if it was in late May, any time in June, or early July (funny how I've arranged my sabbattical during baseball season. WOO HOO!!). Preference to somewhere in Tennessee so I can combine it with other visiting while I'm home, but can probably work any of them. But if we meet in... |

Well, suh, I've never used my Franklin disk either, so if you want to add it to our Ozark campaign we can have at it.

Well, Lt, if none of my subordinates are offering battle with you, I would gladly meet you in one of the small or medium scenarios at Gettysburg. I'm getting stretched pretty thin, though, so couldn't take on a large one or the full battle! If you're still looking for a fight, my email is bishop13@b... |

It's been mentioned on the board here, but no, it isn't in the ACW games yet. Which leads to another (related) question- if I destroy a bridge early in a campaign (say, Corinth), is it destroyed if we fight on the same map later on? Bill, I think we're saying the same thing. But while I agree with the point about usage, it does seem the fact is if you send your single-gun batteries to the rear or off the map then you actually wind up with more ammo for the larger batteries, making the Rebs in effect have *more* ammo than the Ya... |

Oh, man, I had ALL those SSI games! Many many many hours spent there. One thing they did really well was have artillery crews lose men in 1-man increments (as other units, and now as HPS inf and cav). The effect, though, was what made it work -- an arty unit needed 16 men to fire each gun. As it los... |

Guys -- re-read Drew's post. There is no disparity. Ammo use is not the same as ammo allocation. Yes, a 1-gun section uses an ammo point just as a 6-gunner, but in the base number that 6-gun battery gets your side 1 ammo point into your ammo pool while 6 1-gun batteries get you 6 ammo ... |

Can someone help with an OOB for Wise's Brigade in June 1863? I've found the regiments in the OR, but don't have anything on strengths, arms or quality for the beginning of the Gettysburg campaign. I've checked some of the regiments on the 'net, but not much luck. This search did begin with my major... |
