Jim, I cannot comment on if this style of fence was used in other countries. (I can say that it was known as Virginia Snake Rail, or Worm Rail fence.) However, in the US, the access to so much wood made this type of fence cost effective, and was very easy to install, it doesn't require any post hole... |
