Sirs: My apologies -- it would appear that the paperwork has lost its way. Col. Wellman defeated BG Jones in our contest. It was a good fight, a nice scenario, but had an unfortunate ending (for me). Congratulations to Col. Wellman, I hope to meet him again somewhere on another field. BG Ken 'Muddy'... |

Allow me to express my sympathies for the tournament organizers -- they have done a great job and tried their best to give the players an enjoyable experience. But trying to achieve balance is particularly difficult. I know, because I have run tournaments in the NWC for years. Stock scenarios are us... |

Reneau gallantly led his Rebel troops in a storming assault against my Union soldiers defending the Round Top and against Gen. Sickles' Corps in the Peach Orchard. The Rebels seized the Peach Orchard and 12 ca... |

I am curious as to why the tournament organizers chose to design the contests to encourage mutual destruction of both armies. This takes no skills really -- just an agreement between both players to throw everything they have at each other until the game ends. Then both players advance to the next r... |

Park, I watched today's sunset over the brown fields just north of the tip of the Mule Shoe salient. The air was crisp and still.
