"The man installed to oversee the training of the 82nd Division at Camp Gordon was Gen. Eben Swift, a veteran of the Spanish-American War and the Pancho Villa Expedition and a former director of the Army War College. Swift wanted to give the Germans a special surprise when the U.S. Army arrived...

Seeking opponent for WDS Overland 4.01 scenario 604-640612 Crossing the James. I will take either side. In this scenario, Lee still has Early's Corps but the roads are open for Grant/Meade to slide his army to Petersburg - if he wants. Gunboats are active in this one. The Rebs have to decide if they...

Supply Point Loss is being displayed for both the Union and Rebel in the Victory Dialog. However, only the Rebel Supply Losses are being displayed (Union remains at zero).

The Campaign Editor for Gettysburg errors out in both the WDS and JTS versions.

This is closed. I have enough games to again keep me occupied for a while. What a great club this is as playing and studying these games are extremely enjoyable. Have all games except for the latest release. Will play either side. All options on except for MDF, Arty Capture, and Extreme FOW. Prefer ...

If it had been Henry Halleck or Benjamin Butler versus Joe Johnston, the war would still be in process.

I usually exit the game although at times I have forwarded the PBEM turn with the game still open, particularly if I'm talking about the game and it would be handy to reference it.

I'll be happy to play 2nd Bull Run - after the WDS patch is released.

Only one brave soul willing to line 'em up for battle before the WDS patch comes out?

The Irish are a spunky group. About 7 million Irish reside on the isle while 700 million around the world claim to be of Irish descent. Your/our ancestors were either busy or there are a whole bunch of people out there who just wish that they were Irish.

That looks about like the trouble that I had with the WDS Overland Campaign map where the color of the fields are too similar to the color of Reb units and at extreme zoom out fields look like Reb units are there. I wasn't able to verify this because the Overland Campaign game ended before I got a t...

I dislike both the loss of LOS from any hex on the map and the lack of intel on the enemy strength. Both go too far in my opinion and so I would rather play with JTS 3.0 version. The quest for realism is admirable but will never be totally achieved. For example, you can stick a one man unit five mil...

Everybody keeps saying to just use EFOW and problem is solved. Some of us strongly dislike EFOW so that is not a solution for us.

Congratulations! It's very hard to find a better man than Gen Ken Miller. I served as one of his corps commanders a long time ago, and was thoroughly impressed with his dedication, fairness, and good judgement - and he has been this way for years/decades.

Looking for an addition to my gaming time. At this time, prefer remaining with the JTS version. Will play either side. Optional Rules include everything except MDF, Arty Capture, and EFOW. No house rules, using only Battlefield Conduct included in the Gaming section of the club rules. Prefer at leas...

In the last two turns I did in a Chickamauga scenario, I had to move my supply wagon around an uncrossable creek in order to resupply my units on the other side, so the answer appears to be that a creek that is not crossable by bridge or ford will prevent resupply. Is it possible that there is anoth...
