General Ringbloom <salute> Suh, my compliments! We thought you might be referring to those gentlemen on the wrong side of Marsh Creek  Nicodemus did enjoy watching them march back and forth for a while  Oh, and we're ready to continue once the Yankees see fit to return the file :mrgre...

General Ringbloom <salute>

Suh, it started off as a minor scrap with a few dismounted cavalry and the next thing we know we're in contact with the whole cavalry corps! We deployed the entire corps and went after 'em; I don't know what else we could have done.

Gentlemen <salute> The topic has aged somewhat, so Nicodemus thought it necessary to provide an update to the "Gator Challenge" battles against the mighty AotS. You might remember (or not) that we were forced to accept the mulitple challenges because the AotToothless wasn't able to assembl...

I believe we have more problems with volunteers to fill positions than opportunities, but I might be wrong.

Gentlemen <salute> I personally like the current system, although I also wouldn't be opposed to changes. I enjoy the gaming, especially our Gator MP battles. I've been a division commander for nearly two years now and have a great relationship with a great bunch of guys. That's the most important pa...

Gentlemen <salute> My two cents (maybe three) on the subject. I don't feel that the problem (if there is one) is a result of the points needed for promotion, and for a new member 300 points for promotion to brigadier general seems like a huge amount. We have a number of members who would remain gene...

I enjoy "Lonesome Dove" although you can see the "made for TV" tone in it (it was made for TV, right? lol). Augustus was a great character anyhow, and played splendidly by Robert Duvall.

As for the unnamed movie, we shouldn't forget that "Sitting Bull don't surf".

I've seen most (if not all) of those mentioned, including Blazing Saddles. One I enjoy is more modern era: "Open Range" with Kevin Costner and Robert Duvall.

Congratulations to Colonels Vandergriff and Cook! Don't mind General McOmish's memory lapses; he often pays the tab

Gentlemen <salute> Gen. John Schofield wrote in his memoir, "Hood's assault at Franklin has been severely criticized. Even so able a general as J.E. Johnston has characterized it as ‘useless butchery'. These criticisms are based on a misapprehension of the facts, and are essentially erroneous. ...
