One more day to sign up folks. I'd really like to get at least one more player to make 33 signed up.

I've posted a description of the upcoming tourney at the SZO forum if you are interested in the format. Scenarios are still secret though. To join the tourney you will need to join the Civil War ladder at the SZO and then sign up in the Next Tournament thread. SZO is a nice friendly ladder where you... |

If anyone is interested in being in two different clubs I'm still looking for at least one more player in the Peninsula tournament I'll be running at the SZO.

Another point for the Union in the Campaign as I've scored a victory at Malvern Hill against Maj.General Dragan. I think General Dragan could teach the Japanese a thing or two about "kamikaze" after this battle. It was a pretty game attempt to get those two points but in the end he has conceded me t... |

For those of you interested in broadening the areas you play I'll be running a new tournament using Campaign Peninsula over at the SZO site. You can find some more info here: http://www.strategyzoneonline.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=183 Please feel free to join the ladder and join the tourney ther... |

I'd suggest Peninsula. You've got all the individual Seven Days battles to fight, the Campaign to fight, or you can fight the whole thing out as one huge scenario. The latter is what I find fun to think about.

I think the artillery is finally right in Peninsula now that they have gone back to mostly 6 or 4 gun batteries and you use full defensive fire before melee. It makes it a lot tougher to march up and melee guns using that combination as the larger batteries have a lot more wallop and you've got to t... |

The Union jumps out to a quick lead in the tourney thanks to General Laub's minor victory over General Mallory. Given the quality of the Reb officers and armies I expect this lead to quickly expand.....that means get bigger for you Rebs. [:D]

I just make a Outlook folder for each opponent. Then I set a mail rule for each opponent so that when their email comes in it is automatically directed to their folder. There it will show up as an unread message. I leave it showing as unread (even if I read it and have to mark it unread again) until... |

The ink was hardly dry on this page when another Reb stepped up to try and get those two points from me for Malvern Hill. A well done to Maj.General Dragan for helping me advance the Union campaign total! [:D]

Well I guess we will have a fight Maj. General Dragan! Fire up Campaign Peninsula and send me a file. You can see from my original post the optional rules I want to use. This will make two of you Rebs who have stepped up to give points to the Union side and that is about all I can handle for this ti... |

Well the first two games for the tourney have been registered. Generals Laub and Mallory have decided to have a go at Iuka with Laub sure to gain 5 points there though he generously offered General Mallory three points in case the unthinkable happened. Lt. Col. Suarez has stepped up to donate 1 poin... |

As the General and his orderly step off the train at some little wayside somewhere in Tennessee a cold drizzle makes for a gloomy day. The General looks to the orderly and barks, "You did clean out the liquor cabinet before we left Washington didn't you?" The orderly responds with a quick "Yes Sir, ... |
