"The smoke lifted like a rising curtain, and all of the great amphitheater lay open at last, and the Yankee soldiers could look west all the way to the belt of trees on Seminary Ridge. They were old soldiers and had seen many battles, but what they saw took their breath away, and whether they h...

A force march option would be great. But it would have to be at hight fatigue than the current night movement. Also with force marching there would have to be manpower losses representing stragglers. Most of the game I play we have a house rule where everyone has to get at least 6 hours of "sle...

Some of you newer guys probably haven't heard of him but Dusty was one of the first few club members. I remember meeting him at 1st Manassas for a tour back in 1998. Came on his motorcycle. Played him many times. A fierce CSA opponent! Anyway, he died on Wednesday. http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/w...

Just noticed this but it's interesting I've been trying since NOVEMBER (see "2 on 2 game" about 20 down) to get an MP game going against rebs with NO REBEL TAKERS although I did get one going against other Feds. Haines even posted there but on another matter so there's been a lot of howlin...

Ernie: I sent Ken a PM a while back but haven't heard anything from him. I don't have Overland. One reason is I have Shiloh and it's still in the shrinkwrap so I saw no need to get yet another game when I have one I haven't even opened yet. I suggested GB because there seemed to be a wide variety of...

Looking for two rebs. Zero games going on right now because of apparent lack of rebel interest so we'll be willing to play the CSA side if some Feds want to step up.

Still no takers. Although my "2 on 2" post has apparently stilled some CSA to seek less formidable opponents.

Doug

PS: Ernie, you know it ain't true. We'll just let them, think that.

We'll see Ernie. I'm not too hopeful. FWIW my partner is Col. Steve Johnson a guy I actually see in real life once and a while but if they get a third (I know, I know, highly remote) we could make it a 3 on 3 if you're interested.

Well said General Hebert! It's always frustrating but the worst for me was a 4 on 4 MP game where one of our guys business traveled from time to time (4 or 5 times a year) and simply refused to let us know when this was going to happen despite repeated requests to do so. So seven guys sit around for...
