Lt. Gen. Carroll, Honestly, that's a HUGE if! [:p] The numbers at Antietam are even today largely speculative due to the heavy straggling which occurred in the Army of Northern Virginia in the days preceding the battle, but even in a best-case scenario Lee was outnumbered 8-5. I don't see any way An...

Ernie, Thanks for the offer, but right now it is simply a matter of me going through an OOB book I own and finishing off the Confederates. I quit this past January and I haven't had time to get back into it. The Union troops will be easy since they typically have their OOB listed for the end of each...

John, What time period? I'm working on the Petersburg Campaign, which obviously includes the AotJ. If you go to my Petersburg Campaign Project site at http://www.brettschulte.net/PP/pp.html the Union OOBs spreadsheet has AotJ info as of June 15, 1864. I am still in the middle of this massive project...

Simone, I've looked for good numbers earlier in the Peninsula Campaign than the Seven Days myself, often with pretty mixed results. I figured now would be a good time to post that info since you are looking for it anyway. Go to: http://www.brettschulte.net/OOBs/SevenDays/SevenDays.html Scroll to the...

Pat, I just thought to look back in on this topic now. I shot you an email on helping out. Did you get it? That'd be great if you could do the issues you mentioned. I've managed to get some North & South, America's Civil War, and Civil War Regiments issues up on the site. -Brett Schulte HPS Playtest...

Guys, Since I have all of this extra web space, I've come up with another idea I couldn't do before due to lack of that space. I've always wanted to see an online index of Civil War magazines that would be searchable. If I want to read about Seven Pines in my back issues, I could search that site an...

Gen. Mallory, You're very welcome. I just found out earlier today that the Bermuda Hundred book by Herbert Schiller (published by Morningside), released about a year after Robertson's, believes Butler WAS corked in a bottle. I need to go get that one and check it out. -Brett Schulte HPS Playtester A...
