Hey Rich, I avoided the traffic jams at Tiller Con by STAYING in downtown Richmond. Everyone was coming in as I left and leaving when I came in. [:D] Mechanicsville road was a nice 4 lane street all the way. Not a whole lot of traffic though there was a school zone that was pretty crowded on Friday....

Bill and all, I have indeed decided to turn the Alt. Tavern over to someone else. I simply have to manage my time better so I can play more games and not worry about other stuff. I would just hand the keys over to the existing site, but it will actually be better if someone like Scott starts it back...

Paul, Do not buy this game. It is a bad idea. There is LAN game possibility, but no email. There have been postings here about this game already. I think you can downlaod a fuilly working demo from CatDaddy Games. I bought it before reading the posts and installed it and played it once. It is defini...

Dierk, Wow! Congratulations to an awesome person. It could not have gone to a more deserving club member. You have always had my highest respect for all that you do and your knowledge. You are a walking historian on the club and can pull up information for members at the drop of a hat. Your input wa...

As other cabinet memebrs have already responded, I too shall chime in. I want to talk about the perceptions of the "Cabinet". My perception of the cabinet in the past was much like some of the opinions being expressed here. I thought they wielded too much power with no controls and were looking out ...

Gentlemen, Today, I added over 7000 records of awards from Rob Love's site. This is everyone of them that he ever entered into his site. (With a very few exceptions that had no effect on the club) What this means is that now, all awards will show up on your OBD. Your "start adjustment" points were c...

The question has been asked about how to register campaigns and how do you know the scenario. If you open the .cpf file in any text editor (Windows notepad for example) you can see the name of the scenario there. You can pick that from the list and mention that the game is part of a campaign in the ...

Lt. Daley, You raise a question that entered my mind as I built the scenario table for the new site and saw all of those custom scenarios. How many of these custom scenarios are really not "good" scenarios? I could write a 30 turn scenario that pitted the entire ANV against one regiment of the Black...

Ken, Great work as usual! How about a set that shows nothing but a US flag for US troops and Confederate Battle flag for CSA troops? No pics. In otherwords, what if the entire US army took their hats off. all of a sudden it would be hard to pick out the Black Hats at Gettysburg. [:D] Lt. Gen. Don Ad...

[:D] http://www.usma.edu/PublicAffairs/vic.htm Noted this at the museum info: "American Wars" Gallery Our national freedom has been guaranteed by the sacrifices of our fighting men. Here the visitor can see the armor of colonial militiame...
