Claude - if you will please - fill his glass again. No, just leave the bottle - I feel a headache coming on and I think I am going to need some MedSin.

The Army of Alabama must turn in early indeed.

More for us, General.

Serving with the AoA? Yeah, you better start drinking early and often. I once saw half their Army flee at just the sound of a Yank cannon

Welcome to the Western Theater, sir!

Fld. Lt. Davis - pay no attention to Gen. Strickler. he leads from the rear. I mean that literally - he can not sit a horse or a mule so he usually falls of and always lands on his best lookin' side. So from the ground in a seated position we can not expect the honorable General to be able to see the battlefield clearly. He is a fine officer though and deserves our respect and a firm and helping hand to get him up off of the ground.

Tis true I sit too far to the rear of a horse. But when you have two ladies riding with you there is not much room left on the horse to begin with.
