Gentlemen <salute>

Nicodemus has determined that Gator Alley should create a thread in our Army forum for whatever concerns the Gators. The goal is to offer the Gators a central means of expressing whatever it is they wish to share with the club as a whole.

Have something to say to the Gators? Here's the place.
Want to challenge the Gators to MP battle? Here's the place.

"Equal Gator" turn 34 received from the Yankee forces commanded by "Arnold" today.

A question for anyone in general, how do you record a MP battle against a Yankee team commanded by a Confederate officer? I believe the Gators vote as a "maneuver"; any input?

Gen Hebert suh! <salute>

May I remind you of our glorious MP Victory at Corinth, known as Gator Corinth, where our forces led by Gen Tom Moore completely vanquished our foe. You may add this accomplishment to Gator Alley's long list of MP Victories...

May I request Gator Alley be cleaned up?

On my way in I seemed to have stepped on something. Whatever Nicodemus was eating is now stuck on the heel of my boot. I can tolerate the smell but the ladies I am with find it quite disturbing.

Didnt the 1st Division buy him a sandbox?

Ah, yes. There was also the major victory at "Gator Scrap". Thank you General Reneau!

General Strickler, Nicodemus is the perfect house guest. The smell is from the last Yankee that entered uninvited and was unable to control hisself, you might say.

Gentlemen <salute>

It's been nearly a month already! Time flies when you're having fun.

Not much to report on the Gator front for the moment. We continue our actions in MP battles against the AotS in Gator Klebbe and Gator Oats, a maneuver against some Yanks being helped by Joe Medeiros in Equal Gator, and a MP battle rematch against the Lytwak brothers at HPS Chickamauga designated "Gator Clash".

I'm a bit saddened that Olinsky hasn't dropped by, however

How goes things on the home front, Neal? All healthy I hope. Still finishing up the schooling?

General Blake <salute>

Suh, my compliments! It seemed like forever when I started the program, however I'm within 8 weeks of completion.

I'm 2 weeks into my Neonatal ICU rotation, doing one day a week in the NICU and the other day in one of the adult ICU's at my site (12 hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays), with a "seminar" class (4 hours) on Mondays to prepare for the national boards. With luck I'll complete the program and be eligible for the boards on June 26th! It's unreal to think that I'm that close to finishing.

Thank you for asking, and I look forward to being able to sleep again lol. That's the answer I always come up with when I wonder what I'll do with the free time.

Your humble servant,

Glad to hear all is well!

I am in the process of moving back southward to Tennessee so my presence around here will be less this summer. Nicodemus has offered to help me move and is staying in the guest room. On a related note all of the annoying cats and dogs in the neighborhood have mysteriously gone missing

I'm sure Nicodemus had nothing to do with it

Gentlemen <salute>

Gator Alley continues active in a number of areas, including 4 MP battles:

Gator Oats: a draw in turn 70 of 200 at HPS Gettysburg
Gator Klebbe: a draw in turn 58 of 200 at HPS Gettysburg
Equal Gator: a draw in turn 42 of 300 at HPS Gettysburg
Gator Clash: a draw in turn 1 of 40 at HPS Chickamauga

Colonel Olinsky of the AotC has committed to a round robin tournament between Gator Alley and his division using the custom HPS Gettysburg scenario designed for the 20,000 man challenge. Gator Alley has committed five officers to the affair, intended as a "meet and greet" until a suitable MP battle scenario has been identified in HPS Gettysburg. The Yankee participants are currently being recruited.

Major General Hebert,

Pardon the unusual silence on my behalf of late but I went on a bit of a rampage and now have 11 battles and 1 maneuver game underway! So instead of roaming the forums mouthing off... I've been dodging minnie balls and bayoneting unsuspecting Rebels. Oh what fun!

Yes... "Gator Robin" is underway and tourney web page can be viewed at:

http://www.acwgc.org/aotc/idiv/gatorrobin.htm

I believe that all Officer's on both sides are off and running... with the possible exception of the First Round Match between General Jim Garner and Lt Tony Medoro. I've sent off a dispatch checking on that to ensure the battle is underway.

I'm currently engaged in my Round One Match (on turn 11) with yourself... and my Round Three Match (on turn 10) versus Brig. General Reneau. Both games are incredibly different and have been quite enjoyable thus far. As you know... our game has been fairly even but my game with Brig. General Reneau, hasn't been quite so pleasant for the Rebel side. Maybe things will improve for him... but regardless... even if he faces defeat... he has faced it with courage and distinction!

Looking forward to hearing how some of the other battles are progressing...

Colonel Olinsky,

It appears that you have fallen off your horse and bumped your head, your feathered hat provides little protection I suppose.....anyway, the primary discomfort afforded my forces in our current match is the pace in which they must maintain to keep up with your retreating hoardes. Were it possible no doubt, your command would skedaddle back to Washington and hide behind Mrs. Lincolns bed skirts....as they seem apt to withdraw whenever my boys draw a bead on them.....We own the town, we own the heights, and I'll be danged if we don't have better than a 10 to 1 kill ratio, wait, whats that? .......Oh yes, we haven't suffered any casualties as of yet!....your foul feathered fiends in blue have managed to run without properly bidding adieu........

Won't you defend the honor of the local townfolk? Won't you give battle sir?..........waiting...........waiting............waiting.........
