Gentlemen,

Thought I'd stop in for a drink between files. <salute>

General Swan and I are tangling in Round One of the AoG tourney. We've played a few turns of our Cedar Mountain scenario. I've the distinct pleasure of playing the Yanks... though I don't know how pleasurable it will be once General Swan's rebel forces tie into my poor Yanks. I've seen some rebel infantry but they disappeared like a vapor into the wood line. I don't think we've made any real contact although my artillery may have fired upon him during the ADF portion of the turn. But if I inflicted any casualties... it was only a man or two.

I'm sure things will go crazy in short order!

Gentlemen,

The artillery battle continues... General Swan's Confederates continue to march under the guns... and continue to give their lives for the Cause! <salute>

Our battle is not being fought at night... but here is a very interesting image of some night time firing!

I can't believe my boys stood against your initial assault... can they stand against the next one?

I've got my fingers crossed! Rather hard to pull a trigger that way... but maybe it will work! :wink:

I've been down with the flu for a week but am back in the saddle. My body was so tired of being bounced around in the back of an ambulance.
