Actually, now is the time to put the pedal to the metal and get the facility accommodations lined up, etc. You're less than a year out & those type of things go quick. Once you have the info you can work on commitments (before any money is paid out). Something like this can't wait till the last couple of months...the previous two events were mostly formalize 12 - 18 months in advance.

You'll also need to talk to a hotel and secure a rate for a block of rooms with them...the money is all paid by attendees, so no cash outlay by the coordinators, but you need to block out say 30 rooms early so they are available...

OK, Well, do you guys want me to work with the guys from HMGS for NashCon 2010??

If so,

R.H. Can you send me a few good layout pictures from TCII showing how we set up the computers and about how much space we need. I'll send it to the HMGS Board so they can have an idea of what I'm talking about. I'll tell them about 30-40 people?

What about the computers?

If we piggyback with HMGS, the space and block of rooms should not by a problem.

I have a dumb questions. What exactly is a Tiller Con? At first I guessed it was an excuse to meet and have a beer or two, but it is begining to sound like a big deal.
