Hi, General,

I advise you to endeavor to persevere. I think the outcome will be more like the Battle of Gettysburg than the historical battle, in that there will be a lot of uncertainty, which is historical, while there is virtually none in the historical scenario. And so Buford can concentrate his whole division on slowing Heth's advance because he knows there will be no Stuart bearing down on his flank or rear anytime soon.

I have tried my hand at scenario creation three times; two Gettysburg scenarios (a what-if post-battle rear guard action and the Williamsport battle). The other was a what-if Vicksburg scenario we played at Tillercon II. What I found out was balancing a historical scenario is a lot tougher than it looks.

Sounds like at least a couple of folks are interested in the project. I hope you follow through on it.
