Gentlemen, Allow me to express my thanks to Gen Dean for his long service in command of 1st Division, VIII Corps and to the AoS. [:D] Mike was the second commander of the division taking command in March 2002 when the division was just about a year old. He was only a bird colonel then and in addition to commanding the division for 4 1/2 years he has maintained the AoS Sharpshooter webpage as well as a webpage for the division itself. Mike has elected to return to brigade command where he will continue giving our rebel friends a hard time on the battlefield. Gen. Ken Miller
