Notso,

Thanks, but while I was watching it I must have gotten something in my eyes. They got a bit misty there toward the end.

Terry Kelly is a blind cancer survivor from the Maritime provinces of Canada. The song "Pittance of Time" was based on an actual experience he had. I have had the videp clip on my PC for two years now and fire it up as November 11 approaches to remind myself that I have it pretty good thanks to men and women I will never know.

If you want some inspiration, check out his biography at his website...makes me ashamed when I think I have it bad! This guy could be an inspiration to us all...

Notso;

You did good again. I too, thought about my grandfather, father and now my son. We just got word that his Guard Unit will be leaving after the first of the year for 18 months in Afhan. I must be getting old because I can not hold back tears that just comes out
for no reason.

May God continue to watch over all of our troops and those of our allies.

Hello Col. Quick Suh,

Just want to say what a wonderful video, I also come a military family. My dad was a tin can sailor during WWII,Korea and uncle who was a Sub sailor during WWII and myself served from 71 to 97 as a dirt sailor (Seabee)Keep up the great work. Oh on my way up to R.I to visit with my wife's family we passed through your area and left you a early Christmas gift, a box of liberated yankee cigars and a jar of Carolina shine. But heed the label about keep it away from open flames[:D], so you can drink it first and then smoke the cigars or vice versa just not at the same time. Let them in an old oak tree out on 301 before entering Annaoplis. Also the traffic north of Richmond draws a vaccum

Respectfully,

If we Southerners now need a passport to enter Rhode Island, I'd say our work here is done [:D] !

General Sands and General Mallory Suhs,
I didn't need a passport, my wife is from RI so we were waved on through even with NC tags. But I think I would been turned back with out her, she's a southern supporter since we've lived in the south since 1990. Col. Quick them yankees were still there, at first I thought they were State Workers [:p], one working the other five just standing around. Oh Navy Kicked some Army Butt today.[:D]

Go Navy!

Your humble servant,
Gen. 'Dee Dubya' Mallory

(My Dad was USAF, and he always cringes when I say "Go Navy!" By the way, we're no relation, that I know of, to CSA Secretary of the Navy Stephen Russell Mallory -- but one of my uncles bears an uncanny resemblance to the bust of S. R. Mallory in Florida!)
