Gentlemen,

It is my pleasure to present to you Lt. Gary Christian, newly graduated from West Point.

The first round is on me. A toast: To Lt. Gary Christian: May you enjoy the friendly competition, the intellectual stimulation, the lessons learned and taught, the battles be they won or lost; may you gain a greater appreciation of the American Civil War and the pivotal role it played and still plays in American life and culture; and most importantly, to the many new friends and colleagues that you will meet. Gentlemen, I say ye, Lt. Gary Christian!

Gen. Hartwig Suh,

Such a long winded speech, all you had to say was that there's party at the AoO Tavern for Lt. Christian [:D]. And that everyone is invited even us Rebs.[^]

Thank you for the welcome sirs. As soon as I receive my posting I will happily begin the reconquest of the south. Until then lets drink [:D]

Allow me to buy a round for Lt Christian seeing as how he's being assigned to the AoS. The Lt will report to our Militia Division taking over the 3rd Brigade of 3/VIII while he gets acquainted here in the ACWGC.

When you've drank your fill here Lt I suggest you stop by the Winchester Arms where your fellow AoS officers will help relieve you of the burden of carrying around your West Point pay.

The West Point training staff do seem to be a little busier than we've been previously - I just picked up another cadet. Do you suppose HPS might have broken through to a slightly broader market? Or are a higher percentage finding out about, and hooking up with, the ACWGC? Nick, is business picking up over on your side, too?
