Suggest you try this site,

http://www.fortunecity.com/victorian/po ... /index.htm

then go to Alphabetical Battle listings, scroll down to Bermuda Hundred. Although it does not show strengths it gives an OOB down to regiments and batteries for both sides.

Hi,

If you can find a copy of Dyer's Compendium, it has a wealth of information on OOBs. You may have to work with it a bit, but it has every OOB for every Union unit throughout the war, and includes every battle and skirmish and every Union unit history. What Dyer did was go through the Official Records and compile data. He will show the date a unit was assigned and the date it was assigned elsewhere. Anyway, if you just want OOBs without unit strengths, Dyers is the answer.

John,

What time period? I'm working on the Petersburg Campaign, which obviously includes the AotJ. If you go to my Petersburg Campaign Project site at http://www.brettschulte.net/PP/pp.html the Union OOBs spreadsheet has AotJ info as of June 15, 1864. I am still in the middle of this massive project, and I chose to do the Confederates first. I hope to finish the last few OOBs for them this winter, and then I'll do the rest of the Union OOBs. William Glenn Robertson's book on the Bermuda Hundred Campaign has a detailed OOB of the AotJ for May 1864 as well. I highly recommend it.

Ernie,

Thanks for the offer, but right now it is simply a matter of me going through an OOB book I own and finishing off the Confederates. I quit this past January and I haven't had time to get back into it. The Union troops will be easy since they typically have their OOB listed for the end of each month of the Siege.
