Gentlemen,

I regret that for some period of time my turns will be somewhat erratic and delayed, probably for a week or so.

My children have received a number of new games from Santa and have insisted that I up the memory to 1Gb Ram and add in a new 320Gb 'slave' disk hard drive (to replace the old 6Gb slave disk). Of course this introduces the old problem of uninstalling / reinstalling games (mine as well) coupled with the problem of 'allowing' the hoodlums time on the PC to play their new games...

And then there's SWMBO, who also wants to play her games...

Uninstalling is soooo much quicker than reinstalling (particularly those 3.5 Gb games that the son likes...).

I do wish Santa had brought me a new PC, like I asked. Maybe for my birthday... in September...

Sigh....!

regards

There are programs that can move your programs over to a new HD.

I also think that XP has a utility that might work.
