American Civil War Game Club (ACWGC)

Gentlemen,

We have lost communication with General Chris Cross, CSA CoA. One of his last known actions was to ask General Jon Cuneo to serve as the CSA Chief of Staff. The Cabinet has been in communication with General Cuneo, who has agreed to serve temporarily as Acting CSA CoA.

We would not want to have this position filled for too long by someone who has not been elected. General Cuneo's appointment as Acting CSA CoA is effective January 1, 2007. The term will be for three months, ending April 1, 2007, or when General Cross returns, whichever comes first. If General Cross has not returned by that time, permanent action will be taken. In the meantime, General Cuneo has been authorized to perform all CSA CoA functions and will represent the CSA as a voting member of the Cabinet.

I am sure you will all join me in praying for General Cross' safe return, and in giving General Cuneo your full support in the interim.
