There goes some of my best tactics options![:D] No more taking out arty for the sake of the VPs, even though the ground I have to hit is untenable...

Seriously, I appreciate that these improvements are solicited and followed through on. The games keep on getting better and better.

... But there's still scope for a few more improvements.

I suspect the most useful feature would probably be a more sophisticated ammo system, especially for artillery, which still doesn't have supply wagons.

After that, the <i>straggler recovery system </i>I mentioned earlier - that would allow the fighting to continue for longer in the lengthy scenarios that are now increasingly popular, without unrealistically high casualty levels. (NB: Reducing the pdt fire factors isn't a viable alternative option as this will just encourage players to rely on ZOC melees instead.)

Since resting units can already recover fatigue, it shouldn't be that difficult to allow them to recover stragglers as well. I believe this sort of feature is already present in the PzC engine.
