The overall map is over 100 miles, but most individual maps use sub maps taken from the overall map. It seemed a bit silly to use the entire map for a small battle like Allatoona. Also, if I used the entire map for every scn, you couldn't see the detail on the jump map.

Would love to see us play out the entire campaign like in Peninsula. About 15 turns into that 400 turn monster and loving it. The ability to direct my forces from start to finish and knowing the only contrived situation I'll face is the one that we had at the start is great. Den McBride and I have already ended up changing the course of how this battle went historically and there isn't any telling how it is going to end now. I'd love to see the same possibility with Campaign Atlanta!

Yes,

I forgot the scn number, but there is one where Sherman (that evil devil) is chasing Johnston's army back to Kennesaw Mountain.

For those that may want to design their own big map scns. Use map 03. It's almost 10 Megs of data.

Rich

You probably mean scenario #061, with 102 turns.[:p]

Hey Mark, I'm glad you don't know where it's going because I'm totally clueless (several folks may wish to pile on this comment). Add me to your dance card for Atlanta. Mine is on its way.

Heck Den, by the time we get done with 400 turns of Peninsula they'll have probably have more campaigns out then we can shake a stick at.

The thought did cross my mind, but at roughly 40 turns per day and about 120 days of historical campaigning, that would equal 4800 turns. So the answer is no.

My apologizes!
