Maybe we could create some kind of "Neutral Awards".

Let's find a hero that is respected north and south of the border.
Well, eeemm, euh, any idea ?

Col. Harold Lajoie 2/I/AoM, CSA.

Col. Lajoie,

An award was established last year for extraordinary club-wide service. The medal's first (and only, so far) recipient was General Pierre Desruisseaux, who served as Club President for about twice as long as the ACW was fought [:)] !

This medal is awarded by the Cabinet. In order to preserve the dignity of the award it should, of course, be reserved for only the most auspicious occasions. The Cabinet has discussed the use of the award a couple of times since then. So far, the decision has remained to have each side honor their own, even for service 'above and beyond the call of duty' (that is, service to the entire club or 'the other side'), such as when General Don Adams was presented with a medal by the CSA for his outstanding work in setting up the Department of Records.

Your humble servant,
Gen 'Dee Dubya' Mallory

I think Col. Notso should keep the John Brown award, he desevered it, and as far as him changing back to a blue uniform, well that will happen when Pigs can Fly [:p]. Isn't that so General Moose. Well maybe if Miss Lulu and her sisters sweet talk him and give him a little SUGAR [:D][:0]

Respectfully,
Brig. Gen. Gery Bastiani
