Post subject:  New CSA CoA named!

Officers,

This is to announce the election of General Nick Kunz to the positon of Chief of the Armies, Confederate States of America.

Unfortunately, that means his seat as CSA Cabinet Secretary now becomes vacant and I will need to handle that little duty next. For now, however, please join me in saluting the club's newest CSA CoA!

Your humble servant,
Gen 'Dee Dubya' Mallory

<font face="Book Antiqua"><font size="4"><font color="orange">Gentlemen! <salute>

I would like to thank the Senior Leadership of the Southern Armies for their support in electing me to this post! Looking back in whose footsteps I will be walking in is an impressive group! I hope that I can measure up to their standards!

The past two and 1/2 years since I graduated from VMI has been a fulfillment of a childhood dream. Since the age of 12 when Yankee Colonel Ken Schneider, AoT, and I first started board gaming all I wanted to do was play these games, now I have!

This Club is about enjoying our hobby, our sense of ACW history and the comradery of all it's members! I hope that I can help to facilitate this even more!

With this said, I bid you all a good bye as I am heading on a vacation cruise thru the Panama Canal and won't return to duty until after May 8th! In the meantime, General Jon Cuneo, Chief of Staff will carry out the duties of the office.

<font color="beige">Now, if I can get the new Commandant of VMI, Major General Willie Tisdale, to open up the Mess Hall, I would like to buy ya'll a round of VMI's famous Mint Julep.</font id="beige">

-->Gents, thank you all for your kind words of encouragement! I am off to get some rest before heading to the airport in the morning. Bon Voyage![8D]

Respectfully,

Congrats Nick

The rapid rise of an able officer ... or is it just that our snipers have finally figured out what that little doohickey at the end of the barrel is for [;)]

We never did get around to having it out on the battlefield, did we? Perhaps now that you can delegate all work to loyal subordinates we can cross swords, if you would do me the honour.

Your health Sir!

A better choice could not have been made. No doubt Gen. Kunz shall be missed at the VMI, but Gen. Tisdale and the rest of us will keep things moving no doubt. Congrats, Nick. [:D]
