Gentlemen,

This will be a post I will print off and save. I play with Background Sound OFF, but I like to play with Background Music ON. I have this problem with the music sometimes. I just reach up and turn the background music off while I play that turn. More often than not, the next time I start that game (even without rebooting the machine) the music plays just fine. I have considered stopping the game and starting the turn over (if the problem happens, I notice it right away at the beginning of the replay), I just haven't bothered with it.

Your humble servant,

I have never had to reboot the PC to fix the problem. When it gets hung up repeating a sound bite usually just doing a save and restarting the game fixes the problem.

I still suspect this is a bug in the program not an acceleration issue and won't be fixed by adjusting acceleration. For those who have adjusted acceleration on sound let us know if it does correct the problem.
