Even before my father's father
They called us all rebels
While they burned our cornfields
And left our cities leveled
I can still feel the eyes of those blue-bellied devils
Yeah, when I'm walking round at night
Through the concrete and metal

-- Tom Petty "Rebels"

This dang War ain't over. We got plenty of men with the know-how. Let's hear it, boys! Drinks on me for Southern gentleman; 'Blue-bellied devils' must pay their own way for the normal double price.

<br />Col. Slepetz,

Please do not be tempted to shoot the messenger ... but ... do you think it is fair to charge those people double for their own booze?

I was thinking that if they are ... how do I say this politely ... willing to leave their precious supplies out in the open and unprotected ... then maybe we should charge them 4 times its worth ... at least. LOL

Thoughts????

To the land of our adoption and the Irish volunteer!"

Col. "Oh So" Quick, I must say that you're on to something. Why not punish the Yanks for their own stupidity? Four times it is!

Gen. Laub, with all due respect, you REALLY don't want to know what we keep in those "two-bit swills" on those rare occasions that we are routed![:D][8D]

Rebs never route, we just make a tactical redeployment to a different part of the field.[:D]

As for what we leave behind in those bottles, well we drank all the booze so we just refill hm and leave that behind. Wouldn't drink it if I were you.[xx(]

We just have to shoot well enough to hit yer backsides on the way off the field, so just fire in a general southerly direction usually does it for us Yanks, then it's a nice hot meal...[8D]
