American Civil War Game Club (ACWGC)

Sirs,

I know the club have big expertise, I have therefore some question
to ask. I have started up 3 full campaign. 1 goes without problems.
But in 2 I meets problems.

In one I did my turn and everything worked perfect. But my opponent
say that when he load it he gets a black screen.

The other I did my turn everything worked perfect. But my opponent
say that he gets asked for his own replay.

I am sure that In both campaigns I ended my turn correct.

What can this be? I am Very Thankful for all help!

Ola,

Make sure you're both using the same version, make sure both of you have installed the same upgrades and patches.

Ola, maybe you ended your turn but forgot to zip the file before sending it back. I do that myself sometimes.[;)]

Sirs,

thanks! I have solved one of them. That with my opponents own
replay. In that case it looked like I have sent wrong turn so
the fault was mine! [8D]

In the other case I have no answer! I will se if my opponent can
solve this if not I will contact our Expert Col. Larry Quick.

The usual problem with the "black screen" on replay is that you are on different patches. So, that's the first thing to check.

If that doesn't work, then delete the pbemail.xxx and pbemail.yyy files (on both sides)

I believe you can also get the black screen if one of you zipped up the wrong file. In other words you didn't send the .cpf (campaign file) but one of the other of the 3 that show in the folder.
