Gentlemen,

I'm starting a "Siege of Atlanta" scenario (I'm not sure of the exact one, Capt Sheppard?) with a worthy Rebel foe and I noticed something interesting. The level changes seem to be 130 feet. This doesn't seem to be really consistent with the other games... I'm at work now without the game but wanted to get this out there before we waste any more time if this is a mistake.

Can someone help us out?

Thanks...

Are all of the elevation changes 130 feet or just in some places? I have only examined the opening campaign map, but it has places with two or three elevation changes between adjacent hexes to represent the steepness of the terrain, but everywhere else has normal one level changes that are not at all a 130 foot difference.

Pretty much everywhere I checked...
And you notice it's not a multiple of 30...
This is just the scenario, a "what if" one... not the Campaign, where at least in Rocky Face... things seem normal.

It's still dawn so I don't know the effect of line of sight...

And, since we're playing blind, I don't want to get into the scenario and see where the rebel forces start... and, I'm still at work...

There are only 26 levels in the ACW and so choices had to be made to reach certain heights.

Rich,

So, does that mean the 130 foot levels are correct?
They are only 30 in Rocky Face ridge...

Thanks,
