Hey Pat,
If you want to stay with the western theather you got a choice of Corinth, Ozark, Franklin, Shiloh, Vicksburg, and Chickamugwa. For the eastern theather you've got Peninsula since you have the other two. Myself I like Corinth, Franklin and Shiloh. But I guess this didn't help you much does it. LOL

Personally, I like Ozark and Shiloh. Of course I am still getting used to the Shiloh engine but so far I like the scenarios a lot. I also like the fact that Buell's Army of the Ohio is reprented in the Mill's Springs Campaign in Tennessee and that you can do Pope's Island # 10 campaign.

I also like Lyon's 1861 Campaign in Ozark and Pea Ridge. Both campaigns are well worth your time.

I think it depends on what you are interested in, since most of the games have been updated to include all the latest options. I would recommend Chickamauga, as it includes no less than four major battles over the course of a full year, but in my humble opinion the small scenarios don't seem to be balanced. Of course it is hard to achieve balance with so many options. Also whether you prefer single phase or multiple phase might have a bearing. If I had no favorite theater or period in the war Shiloh would be my choice, as it has a lot of variety, and the scenarios I have played have been more balanced.

Nothing is different about the Engine...with the latest updates of GB & Vick. all games are at the same level. the PDT values are probably what he is referring to.

Rich W. is in the process of trying to standardize all his PDT files as well, so that will probably change as further updates are rolled out, for his four games.

My advice would be all of them.....They are all worth having and the more we support them, the more likely they will keep putting more out....So you'll be doing yourself, the other gamers, and the folks who made the game a favor.....A win, win, win situation.....BTW, just so you know I am not a hypocrite, I own all 8, plus 1776, 1812, and French and Indian War....Regards, Hank
