I have returned to the club aftera long absence, due to health and my move back to the UK. Look forward to get back in touch with some old friends at the club.
If anyone who knows how to guide me to get Vista and the HPS/TS games to work properly, and can walk me through using ICQ please do so, it would be greatly appreciated, seeing I am not so quick on the Tech Front.

Great to be back in the fight.

Cheers,
Terry Dancer

Great to see my old friend General Dancer back up and going again. We had some great battles in the past. I hope someone can get him up and going as I know nothing about working the vista.

The HPS games once patched will work find under Vista. The only thing I recommend is that you create a separate folder to install the games to instead of the default "Program Files" folder. I usually create one called "C:\HPS" and install all games as subfolders under it. Vista's security sometime causes programs not specifically written for Vista to have problems creating files in the Programs folder. You will get two error at the end of the install from the CD for these games but it can be ignored. Only problem I have had is the games never recognize they have been installed so every time you put the game CD in you will get list of what to do with the CD.

I haven't tried to use the old BGG games under Vista since I no longer play them. I would recommend a similar installation, say "C:\BGG". Be sure to upgrade them to their 32 bit versions. You may have to play around with their compatibility mode to get them to work though.

To keep from getting the menu when you put a disk in just hold down the shift key and it will not come up.
