Playing a 3day battle on HPS Gettysburg. I always play on 3D. Tried to move a Cav unit in line in a simple clear to clear hex movement (2 movement points) 'unit is not allowed to make requested move'

Took me ages to think to check the 2D map as well. On 2D there is a rail cutting at these hexes but not on either of the 3d maps (graphically i mean) Hexes concerned are 46.35, 47.35 & 48.36

Has anyone else noticed or could i just have a bug with my map files?

I think a later patch added a graphical representation of cutting hexsides, but even so you only see it if it is facing towards you (SW, S, SE) AND if the hex adjacent to the upper side of the cutting is of higher elevation than the adjoining hex to the lower side of the cutting. I say this because the next cutting along to the SE near the E. McPherson House displays because of the elevation changes, or at least the S and SW facing hexsides anyway. Someone will correct me if I am wrong but I think this is just a limitation of the way the game deals with the '3D' views.

Yes. Railway cuts are only visible in 2D.
