Gentlemen of the North and South,

I may be halucenating or may have jest not been paying attention! While playing the latest update of HPS Shiloh (historical Shiloh, 86 turn battle) , it seems that dead and wounded Federal infantry and cavalry are worth more than vanquished Johnny rebs.

Maybe its that way cuz my men are so much better equipped, but dang it is demoralizing and enough to make Grant hit the jug.

Is this a bug or is the designer balancing the scenerio. Don't ever remember it before.

Yuir humble servant,

Hi, Mark,

I checked the scenario editor and you are correct. 25 Yanks are worth 10 pts and 25 Rebs are worth only 8 for infantry, while the values are 20 and 18 respectively for cavalry. Artillery is 30 per gun for both. I don't understand it either. One Reb ought to be worth at least three Yanks.[:D]Maybe Rich will enlighten us.

Just a balancing technique. Feel free to change it with the editor.
