Officers of the Club:
It is time to hold elections for four club offices:
Chief of the Armies, USA (Currently held by Jeff Laub)
Chief of the Armies, CSA (Currently held, on an Interim basis, by Dave Bowman)
Cabinet Secretary, USA (Currently held by Lars Wistedt)
Cabinet Secretary, CSA (Currently held by Pat Carroll)
The CoA - CSA position has been held on an intermim basis by Dave Bowman, for several months now, since Nick Kunz stepped down from that post. A election needs to be held to elect a permanent replacement. The officers named above for the three other posts are nearing the end of their two-year terms.
NOTE: All four of these officers are eligible to be elected to these same posts. However, they would still need to follow the Club Rules and be duly nominated and elected (see http://www.wargame.ch/wc/acw/ACWGCRules.html, Item 3.3.3).
The following schedule has been approved by the Cabinet:
Nominations: To begin immediately, and end at midnight, EST, on Saturday, December 15
Campaigning: Sunday, December 16 through Saturday, December 22
Voting: Sunday, December 23 through Saturday, December 29
Please refer to Club Rule section 3.3.4.2 for eligibility requirements and nomination procedures. Note that nominations may come from any club member on the same side as the position being filled (that is, Rebels may only nominate for the CSA slots and Yanks may only nominate for the USA slots), and that nominations need to be sent to the entire Cabinet.
