Post subject:  Rejoining club

Hello all, I just saw Campaign Antietam released and I have always liked that one so I purchased it. I only have Vicksburg in the Civil war series. Was originally a member of this club on the Southern side but wanted to join the union (just to be different) My question, is this allowed or do I need to come back on the side I left[:)] Any response would be welcome.

2.5 Transfers. Transfers from one military group to another (USA-CSA) at a later time will be considered on a one for one basis, but the practice is an unusual occurrence. A transfer between armies may only be completed once for any member and a minimum rank of Colonel is required to request a transfer. Requests for transfers will be handled by their respective Chief of the Army (CoA). Officers transferring from one side to the other will lose all but 15 Officer Battle Dossier (OBD) points and start over at the rank of Second Lieutenant, but will not have to pass through the Training Academy of their new group.

From the RULES.[:p]

If you are not at present a club member, I believe this would not technically be a transfer. You would join like everybody else, on whichever side you prefer.

Go ahead and send in a request to transfer armies to the respective CoA's and see what they say. At worst they can say no.

Just remembe suh, if you do join those people, that should you be captured, you will either be shot as a deserter, or hung as a spy.
Other than that, there should be no consequences, we're pretty liberal on our policies here in the Southern army.

If this is who I think it is things could get really confusing for the rebs if you join the yanks with both of us on the same side. This time it would be me as the general and you as the lieutenant.

Come to think of it that's a good enough reason to let you transfer, anything that confuses the rebs has to be a good idea.[:D]

You are already confusing them just by printing something for them to try and read. Give them shoes to tie and you could probably march to Richmond while they while they figure that out. [:D]
