How do I establish my forum parameters to display threads in descending order?

It is maddening to try and read a thread from the end up.

I'm sure it's obvious but, I can't find it.

Hi,
On my computer, when you enter the tavern, at the bottom of the screen are three pull-down menus for time period, order of threads (ascending or descending) and something else. You can set for descending order in the middle pull-down menu.

That's only affecting the displays of the threads not the actual posts in the thread for me.
