:question:

after i download the file sent to me and place it in the game folder, i start the game and look under old to start the file sent to me, but its not there,,,it is in the folder though. what causes
this to happen,,,i have ver 1.02 as far as i know it is the latest.
any ideas.

Are you maybe playing a campaign scenario? (a .cpf file). If so, then you have to get at it through the campaign frontend, instead of the regular game frontend.

If HPS and it's not a campaign make sure you clicked on Old and PBEM in the menu. Then check the game file and make sure it has a .bte extension.

i think you got it,,,,,i looked at the file and the extension was btl.exe instead of bte.exe
