I was in the Navy from 1966 to 1970, four years. I was at sea for over three years. I was on a ship for one day. Gen. J. Cuneo, CSA Army of Alabama, Cmdg "Then call us Rebels, if you will. We glory in the name. For bending under unjust laws, and swearing faith to an unjust cause, we count as greater shame." |

I was in the Royal New Zealand Navy for 22.5 years and I had a great time a public expense[;)]. Please note that the navy is, and will always be, the senior service. So if it comes to a split count then navy wins[:D]. Your Aye, Col Cam McOmish CSA |

US Navy from 1964 to 1968. Stationed aboard the USS Willard Keith (DD775) at Norfolk and the USS Barton (DD772) at Philadelphia. Four of the best years of my life, other than the 42 I've spent with my wife Rosanna and the 21-33 with four daughters. MG George Denney 1st Division, VI Corps Army of the Shenandoah |
