Not long ago, I had my TS BG Chickamauga installed on my computer and at some point removed it. Now I have tried to re-install it and nothing happens. The disk simply does not work. Autorun does not bring it up. The "Run" function and Intall New programs will not respond to the "setup" exe.

TS Chickamauga was released as a 32bit program out of the package but one still needed a patch from Rich Hamiliton to install it. I have fetched the patch again from Rich's page, but I can't install the patch until I install the game, and the game disk is like "dead." NOTHING HAPPENS, it doesn't even spin when I use windows install, run or directly click on the setup exe?

I am wondering that even though it USED to run under XP, if some subsequent service paks have now interfered with its install. I am also wondering if maybe there is a "registry" problem. I recall this same thing happening once before with my Campaign 1776 disk after uninstalling it.

I fear that only Rich Hamilton knows the possible answer to this issue and will try writing him if no one else can help me.

Thank you.

I solved the problem...it WAS the registry that was the problem. Please see my NEW, separate post on the subject. Sorry for any inconvenience.
