Gentlemen: A honey locust tree that was standing on Cemetery Hill during the battle of Gettysburg and 150 feet from the Gettysburg Address platform has been damaged during a recent thunderstorm. 80% of the tree's top was broken off causing severe damage to the tree that was witness to events in 1863 that many have written about for years.
