 Post subject: Playable on Mac?
PostPosted: Wed Sep 10, 2008 6:45 am
We are in need of a new computer and for everything else we use it for I am thinking moving to a Mac might be best for us - but will I be able to play the HPS games on a Mac without any problems? [?]

Anyone with a Mac have any other issues to know about besides the games (assuming they will still work)?

Regards,

The HPS site says they are not compatible with anything but Windows, but that they might work via outside programming tweaks that they are not responsible for, etc.

Anyone able to do that?

Looking like no Mac for us then - can't give up wargaming just for the sake of a better and more stable opperating system! [;)]

It shouldn't be too hard. Find a parallel desktop that you might like. The one linked from the site costs (http://www.parallels.com/) but I don't know if there are others out there that does not cost or atleast are cheaper.

For games like these, it shouldn't be too difficult running in a parallel desktop, but I am just guessing.

I Thought that Mac could play any PC game using whatever they use to do it. Not sure what it's called.

Scroll to the very bottom of the HPS main page and you will see info on MAC's - in short, yes it is possible.
