Fellow Officers, As I await my final orders, I thought to find the best way to spend my time here in this tavern. My pockets are full from the kind gifts of friends and family on the occasion of my graduation from VMI. So, a round of drinks on me! I am honored to find myself amongst a this group of august comrades and opponents. I'm looking forward to facing some fine opponents on the battlefield and to consult with my fair comrades on how best to whup'ya! Fld. Lt. Kenyon Woodget Eastern Theater TBA CSA |

Congratulations on joining the club, condolences on the side you chose. Bring your own shoes as the CSA won't be giving you any, and you will surely need them for rapidly advancing to the rear in the face of those yankee guns. I know my own men have gone through several pair in that manner. MG D. Groce AoP V Corps 2nd Division "Into the breach" |

Welcome, suh! Don't listen to David. He's never recovered from having chosen the wrong side, a decision -as JEB said - he will regret but once, and that continually. [;)] Hopefully this will be the first and only time you'll have to buy drinks from your own funds. There's usually plenty of captured yankee supplies to go 'round... Thank y'all for the warm welcomes .. and those that display the traditional yankee sense of "humor" as well. [:p] I have no fear of treading on my native soil in my bare feet if my country demands it of me .. it is my fervent hope that my feet might carry some blessed southern soil onto the fields of invaders. Someone mentioned something about free drinks, well set them up. Welcome aboard Lt. Woodget hope you have a good time in the club, and on the battlefield. This club has a great group of men, North [}:)] and South [:D]. Anyway I'll have a large sweet tea and good hunting on the battlefield. Surprised that Col. McOmish isn't here, when free drinks are involved. <SALUTE> Respectfully, Lt. Gen. I will take one of those drinks if you don't mind. Have been real busy hunting down my staff. Gen. Braddock chased them off Cemetery Ridge recently and they scattered. Those darn rebs have no manners[:(]. Lt. I hope you show a little more respect[:D] if you come up North at all. Good luck Lt. You will need it.[;)] Col.
