I would like to say congratulations to the Officers involved in this leadership change at the ANV.
It is with a heavy heart that I must recognize the departure from the Great Army of Georgia my long and trusted Friend, Gen John Newton. John has been the back bone of the AoG for the past 1 1/2 years doing most of the dirty work behind the scene. He is single handedly responsible for the terrific set of Awards and Ribbons that AoG has (along with Robert Weir's Boys at the CSA Medal Works & Foundry) and I see that he has already begun so at ANV. He is ready for this leadership position and will do a wonderful job with ANV.
