If you look at the links on the top of the page and see one marked My Subscriptions you are subscribed to a topic and this will cause the problem you are having. If this is so click on the My Subscriptions link and delete all of your subscriptions and the problem should clear up. If there is no link for My Subscriptions than you have another problem.
