I am playing the Chickamauga campaign and we have reached the Battle of Chickamauga and there are no objectives. Is this an error? Also Longstreet and Kershaw's Division are missing. I know Kershaw's Divsion was engaged and I thought Longstreet was also present.

I have a similar situation in a Gettysburg campaign - 5 days of fighting along the Moncacy river and no objective hexes, with us rebs starting on a major defeat....it's a tough one!

It could be dependent upon the result you had in the battle previous. I came into this fight on the back of a major defeat - which I suppose could account for it.

I did some looking and we are playing the one day battle and Longstreet historically didn't arrive until late the 1st day so I guess that answers that. Objectives would be nice. With all the woods it makes it very hard to decide where to advance.

I think it builds the tension. Not knowing where in the woods the enemy might be.[:)]
