What happened to being able to melee a leader alone in a hex?

Hi, General,

As far as I know, you can still do it. If you can't, can you provide details as to which module you are using? I was just able to do it in patched Atlanta, both by overrun during movement and by melee. I used phases, by the way.

Are you doing it via the bridge method? (Click the leader hex, then "Begin Melee," then your units, then "Add to Melee" and then resolve?)

On the other hand, let's face it - shouldn't they be able to run away?? Especially the yanks... [:o)]

See Sean's comment below, that's the method you need to use.

Maybe Confederates could escape but Yanks? They all city folk or immigrants. They are directionally challenged and would ride the wrong direction. You shouldn't even have to bother to enter the hex to capture them.
