All,

I've setup a poll on my private forums to gather feedback from people on what OS they are currently using (or plan to use soon), so please take a minute and vote. I have set it so you do not need to be registered on my forums to participate.

Please share this with all HPS gamers you know too...

Thanks,
Rich

When i purchased my new box i got it with Vista 64 bit ( not on purpose ) More and more "gaming " pc 's are coming out with that. I say this because maybe you want to add that as an option in your poll

That is something to consider. The new quad processors and low memory prices mean there will be a shift toward 64 bit processing to take full advantage of these processors and 4+ MB of memory. So while I voted that I am using XP I will be upgrading to Windows 7 64bit when it becomes available.

I'll go to a 64 bit operating system when its a true 64 bit operating system with true 64 bit hardware... and if the OS is from Microsoft only after the OS has been on the market for over 2 years (at least one SP under its belt).

Otherwise its XP for me.

Our games run on both the 32 & 64 bit OS's, so I didn't make a distinction. I doubt we'd ever code a true 64-bit app (at least until it is totally dominant) because it would leave too many people behind.

I have a Mac so OSX but since HPS games won't run on a Mac I of course have VMWare Fusion to run in parallel and use WinXP on that side so I can run the games.
