Post subject: Possible Big XII Conference Fall Tourney

Gentlemen,

I'm interested how many "rabid" Big XII Conference fans there are in the Club. I know there's a few Texan's in the Club... and a few Oklahoma boys... and then there's some CORNHUSKERS like Jim Gleason and myself... but I don't know if any of the other Big XII teams are represented or not.

What I was sort of thinking about was possibly having a Tourney that followed the Big XII Football Conference schedule this Fall. There could be multiple players representing a team (from either side of the Club)... as I alluded to... Jim Gleason and I and any other diehard Husker fans would form Team Nebraska.

It might be a bad idea... and there may not be that many Big XII fans represented... but that's what I'm trying to find out. So post your Big XII affliation below (if you have one)!

Thanks,

The Great State of Colorado and the COLORADO BUFFALOES are indeed represented. Certainly you remember General Hulinsky the "mayhem in Boulder in 2001," when Colorado crushed Nebraska 62-36?

General, you may count the great state of Texas as being represented. HOOK"EM. Gregg Davis Offensive Cord. at UT,and I were at one time close friends during high school and college, and like things in life went our seperate ways, He went on to become, QB coach at Texas A&M, Head coach Tulane, Off. Cord. North Carolina and eventually his present position at TEXAS, I became Dean of Cadets at VMI. I like my job, but having known him, know he loves his.

Brig. General Moore,
Tom,

Sir, congratulations on your recent promotion to Brigadier General! <salute>

I must admit that the Husker's do pick up some rather strange nonconference games. I understand why they do... though I wasn't thinking it was to be bowl eligible! LOL! I thought it was just so they'd have some tune-up games before the regular season but they have had some tough nonconference opponents. USC was one of them and we got stomped each time!

(But Tom... I'd be really quiet about Bowl games at the moment. General Willie Tisdale is a Clemson fan and we beat them in the Gator Bowl this last year. I had visited his Facebook page and he had pictures from the bowl game posted.)

I believe we have a Cadet at VMI who hails from Columbia, Missouri so we might have a Missouri Tiger fan too. I was wondering if we had any KU or KSU fans but so far nothing on those two.

Have a great weekend!

You are right there is nothing about rugby on the SOONER site - thank goodness as the site is all about girly sports. It is about time American football hardened up and got rid of the body armor [:D][:D]
